Seraphim as Seamtresses
Modern poetry modern verse contemporary poetry contemporary verse modern poem contemporary poem
“The angels of the inmost heaven are not clothed.” ~ Emmanuel Swedenborg
What kinds of clothes do angels make for those
Who choose to wear them?… maybe monkish robes
Of brown, coarse cloth and other types of prose
For minds with frills on sacks about the globes
In hairy sacks for spewing semen crimes,
Of rape and buggery. Those angels make
Devices holding in the virgin slimes
Of chastity before those holes meet sheik.
At times the heavenly hosts stitch silk for head
Of pope or sleeves for poetry called “bride.”
At times angelic fingers wield the thread
Of see-through gold for ribbons saints have tied.
The fallen angels make some condoms’ holes
For men to use on their intruding poles.
