Literally

The power of the word has long been known

To be as real as Real.  We grab that in

Our use of “literally.”  As hard as stone

This term means letters are as deep as sin.

They don’t need chiselling in rock to slam

Their power in history.  Literature wields strength,

Our penis strength, more UHHHH than battering ram.

The force a prophet pens grows UHHHHHHHHHH in length

And rapes the minds of men long centuries on,

Millennia from semi-arid caves

And desert tents with camels in the dawn

Of faiths that form carved crosses in dark naves.

Commandments spoken are enough to cause

The violence of wars that break gods’ laws.
