A butterfly gives beauty, pleasure, grace,
All free for us — the beauty in its wings,
The pleasure in its flight and floating pace.
The beauty of its floating, zigzag swings
Increases loveliness as movement must
In dreams and daydreams and in wishes. Flight
Tells hearts that beauties in our fields adjust
The universe. Such beauties show their might
Again, again, again. In night times and in noons
Such movements tell us simply life is full
Beyond our thoughts and in the Buddhist moons
Are moths that sweep religions’ sacred pull.
The moths are dusty, scaley, silver green

And tend to teach what oracles have seen.
