Him to Hymn

         Him to Hymn

Modern poetry modern verse contemporary poetry contemporary verse modern poem contemporary poem
“I am driven to a fine extremity; this limb of mine is mine own.” ~ Merry Wives of Windsor, III, sc. 5

His Him parts cause the hymn.  You know which parts

Are meant.  He means with thicker, longer limb —

And wider.  No one cares about men’s hearts

In hot flesh hunching.  Hearts are not for hymn

Enlightenment.  Who wants that organ in

His chest since scripture says that it is worst

Of his identity and full of sin?

In beds of sweat his partners want his burst,

His organ blast between his legs, say deep

Within the mouth (or throat).  They want his must

In nostrils.  Partners turn away from sleep

To feel his hymnist part in deepest thrust.

His other Him parts matter, splatter, too

Because they help deliver Him-mest spew.
