Lightening Up the Revelation
Modern poetry modern verse contemporary poetry contemporary verse modern poem contemporary poem
Priests wonder if it’s easier for men
To pitch themselves in mystic-ness since they
Are swell acquainted with their thrusting when
Whammed climax comes. They know that that lost spray
Is entering a death while spewing life

In darkness. Other realms are banished at
That moment, blotting out the thought of strife
By Revelation in that mystic splat.
But maybe women have the better grasp
Of mystery while experiencing whole,
Whole-body revelations with a gasp.
Satoris fill much more than just a hole.
The men are whacked with concentrated zing.
The women feel the sweep of angel wing.
