When angels have become lost beings, we

Take up the trails the angels blaze.  Both men

And women follow cast down creatures.  Glee

Is what we think that we will get.  No, Zen

Is not called up to mind.  If we had wings,

We’d follow angels even faster to

Excitement, thrills and doom.  We’d do those things

Forbidden. We would follow hearts’ most true

Desires, careening down from heavenly space

To sex as hot as brimstone raining down

On Sodom and Gomorra.    We would race

And head to hell, its lake of fire, and drown.

  The whitest stars and petals working well

    Together make temptations only swell.
