Conclusionless Moments

Conclusionless Moments

Modern poetry modern verse contemporary poetry contemporary verse modern poem contemporary poem

A present that does not contain the past

And future weights as falsity, a rose

Of toilet paper.  Time contains a vast

Uncertainty if prophecy lacks glows

Of yesteryear, if paintings on the walls

Of caves inside our minds forget the years

Tomorrow cuddles.  If no mirrored halls

Speak certainly of ambiguity,

Uncertainties of long lost nights and days,

Forgotten, never known, tomorrows lost

Before prophetic voices sing their praise,

Such present times, their roses are thawed frost. . .

Such presents hold doomed limits from the start.

They have no range in your lone human heart.
