An Endless Strung Out Gordian Knot

The problem with these mystics is that they

Are tied in knots bound up in knots that stretch

Away, way past infinity.  They say

Such tangled stuff that they then have to retch

It out as mystic vomit thus to rid

Themselves of noble nonsense.  Is their God

Divinity at distance or an Id

And Ego deep inside us overawed

With widest, deepest Us-ness, Me-ness, I

Writ large in googolnesses, in googols times

Themselves inside you like an endless sky,

And is their God just you that rhymes and rhymes?

  So twisted in their thinking they are like

    A human who is God, both true, alike.
