Wearing a Triple Crown above America

Wearing a Triple Crown above America

A menace rises like a tidal wave,

A monster with the skin, blond hair and scales

Of humanoid dragons from a cave

Beneath the Dead Sea’s crust. Decency pales

To superficiality of greed

With gilt attempting to prevent our eyes

From seeing through the scum-like gloss.  Its creed

Is “Worship me and all that is unwise.”

Its Jesuits and storm troops are the Tweet

Of trolls, and slap, and unrestricted grope—

“A man’s reach should exceed his grasp” the bleat

Of this false priest with tarnished silver hope.

..He prophesies 24-carat hate.

….His secularity has redneck weight.
