Veiled Olympus and the Heavenly Sanctuary, with His Camouflaging Masculine Vestments

Veiled Olympus and the Heavenly Sanctuary, with His Camouflaging Masculine Vestments

God pours from jars of bounty in his halls,

The jars of pleasure and of sorrow. Both.

We men and women make our chorused calls

From earth below.  We call in prayers for growth

Of pleasures (blessings) in the palace, shack,

Cathedral—and the whorehouse.  Blessings poured

Are duly mixed with ills.  A lettered plaque

On both those jugs makes clear what God ignored.

The word on one was “Love,” the other “Hate.”

God chose to gush them both together in

One flow because Free Will’s a must.  The spate

Resulting churns up diamonds and sin.

..He used to be called Zeus though now we find

….Him on his throne like chanting Homer, blind.
