Cartoonish movies, and perfume campaigns
For goddess-like attraction, and for fads
Like PS4-ish war games. Gods’ remains
Are just commercial or for trivial
Stupidities. The great gods Thor and Mars
Are furry drinking buds, convivial
And comic, glugging down their foamy jars
Of ale in pubs. Athena might be shown
Consuming Greek-style yogurt. It implies
That females eating it won’t be full grown
Fat. Gods are used to sell us many lies.
