Pasts Go into Present Living

Pasts Go into Present Living

Modern poetry modern verse contemporary poetry contemporary verse modern poem contemporary poem

Our past goes into present, living, past

And living both combined, combined as one,

Continuous from primal first to last

Divided not and unified, a sun

That shines unceasingly and bright

Yet indivisible, a moon of straight

Continuum its night as one with light

Of sun, a googol like the figure eight

Laid down against the weakness of the laws

Of physics and the cosmos like a flower

Too strong to fade and wilt and die because

The combination speaks with oneness’ power.

The melody that comes from this sings long.

Our pasts go into life, one present song.
