Must be sexed up. They go to help in war
Zones, in the broken bone severity
Of mass catastrophe, but requests for
Donations now require the sex appeal
That permeates our whole society.
The patient lifts his shirt up. The ideal
Of advertising is our piety
About the hotness of young flesh and skin,
So never mind the purity of heart,
The purity of selflessness. The sin
Would be allowing decency its part
Untainted by the glow of lust as well.
Concupiscence must be allowed its spell.
