Where freedom flurrs is wisdom if the mind

And feathers. Where such freedom is confined
In fences, it will out at last and warm
With something like a double-petal flower
In something like a double-petal pink.
The problem with a truth is that its power
Cannot be boxed in coffins, will not slink
Away and be defeated by the ones
Who shout with triumph, being faithless fools.
The victory is more like full-lipped nuns
Who pray in quietude like beaded jewels.
A resurrection waits for cherry trees
In every spring with roots that lie at ease.
