Hissing

                    Hissing

“skin redolent with unspoken kisses” ~ Jaime Mathis, It Rises and Falls

“Never let a fool kiss you and never let a kiss fool you.”

A kiss, if spoken or unspoken, smells

Of nothing.  Kisses touching skin or lips,

Those kisses licking earlobes cast their spells

But if the kiss is only hinted, hips

Will not allow the sphincter of the hole

Between them to go loose.  A gasping throat

Will not result.  That throbbing, thick-veined pole

That threatens kissing’s meaning will not bloat

To consummation if a kiss is dreamed,

Dreamed, dreamed, is only open-mouthed and does

Not penetrate with poet tongue.  A screamed

Invasion is desired, not silent buzz.

..The melodies above hot cushions freed

….By pounding, pulsing wish will just mislead.
