Comeliness in Constancy
Modern poetry modern verse contemporary poetry contemporary verse modern poem contemporary poem
The cosmos harbors constancies of grace
Unending in their forms. These coiling curls
Are logarithmic out in Outer Space
And in our chasmed seas. These smaller whorls

Of seashell beauties and the flight of moth
So mesmerized it flies to candle death
Are all about us, also in the swath

Of hurricanes and maybe in the breath

Of ghosts in ancient circle burial grounds.
The seeds of sunflowers center selves around
The blossoms’ hearts in silent seraph sounds
Unheard but bass in deepest cosmic ground.
This spangling everywhere of coils within,
Within, within is God’s perfections’ spin.
