He shows contentment with his claws.  A paw

In whiteness stretches out and claws curve out

Of white and pink.  The curves of ivory claw,

Claw, claw reveal the opposite of pout.

He basks in love and shows it with his brute

Moon slices from his soft white fur.  The muzz

Of sleep is on him and his joy is mute

But eloquent.  A little purring buzz

Accompanies the claws.  A cat has snags

In some emotions.  His excitement blurs

Inside his brain.  A sleepy tail tip wags,

But if he gets excited, pleasure slurs

To biting gently.  Bite and claw confuse

Themselves with love inside his dreamy snooze.
