(Observed from high above as we approached),

What doctrine is extrapolated when

We contemplate these trees, because they be

             

Planted singly, or in brooches, or in

Necklace shapes along the curled pale shore?  Are

They feathery phallic results of sin?

No, Christ made them and each is bent, bizarre.
