Dark Purplish Brown to Red

     Dark Purplish Brown to Red

Modern poetry modern verse contemporary poetry contemporary verse modern poem contemporary poem

Disease goes on in spring with no release

From agony.  Cancer of the brain goes on

Despite the chemotherapy.  Spring’s peace

Of cherry blossoms and of waiting fawn

In forest shadows for his mother does

Exactly nothing for the crazy guy’s

Disturbance.  It goes on and on abuzz,

Psychotic in its ever-banging size.

Depression of a suicidal kind

Continues on past daffodils.

Diseases turn a face and eyes gone blind

To suffering, crazy women’s laughoills.

The epilepsy in the glitched down brain

Still cause scarring, April with puce stain.
