Young Ones Trapped in the World Wide Ebb of Knowledge and Fun
Modern poetry modern verse contemporary poetry contemporary verse modern poem contemporary poem
What if it isn’t popular? What if
It isn’t pushed by TitTok entities,
Those Web influencers? Then young ones sniff
Or worse, are ignorant as lice and fleas
Upon the body lunatic of Web
Stupidity. A Hindu myth retold
Ten zillion times is dead if no celeb
Is pointing to it. Antique Greek tales told
For eons are an unreal tree that falls
Within an unreal forest. Then when no one hears
It, it’s unreal. An ancient epic calls
Out loudly but it falls on deafened ears.
Not even Golden B/Hollywood’s enough
For young ones. Sterling Screen delights are guff.
