The Good God

  The Good God

a tsunami of love

Tornado twists and terrors kill two score

In trailer parks and maybe elsewhere.  Storms

Like hurricanes with evil eyes kill more.

Typhoons like Oriental eyes in gods with forms

With slanted vision kill as many in

Their bamboo huts.  Volcanos come with fire

Of molten stone and wipe out cities’ sin

And splendor.  Nature does not have a hot desire

To spare mere people.  Earthquakes shake and kill

By many thousands and then cause vast waves

That drown a hundred thousand.  Plagues then spill

A million souls for services in naves.

These facts show us that there’s a loving God.

With him all things are possible.  How odd.
