The Abyss of Heaven, the Desert and Illimitable Air

The Abyss of Heaven, the Desert and Illimitable Air

Modern poetry modern verse contemporary poetry contemporary verse modern poem contemporary poem

The voice of Christ is wandering throughout the skies.

That word is always there in every day,

In every day and night.  Our ears and eyes

Can hear and see it if they simply sway

To its eternity.  Clairvoyance

Inside the soul is waiting.  When a still,

Small voice speaks, listen.  Wide flamboyance

Will not be him.  Allow the word to fill

You.  Intuition comes to you on wings

From thrones above, on winging majesty.

Wings come in haste from where your angel sings

Beside two thrones and from the spirit He.

The sunflower weary of the time, its ache,

Is yours as bride and groom in William Blake.
