But what if logic isn’t right and all
The rest is better, intuition best
And mysticism even more, its thrall
Superior to test tubes in the West?
Yes, what if rationality of Greek
Or Einstein minds is pitiful against
Our search for truth, if visions (each unique
To Christ or Mao), if visions (each unfenced)
Replace mere facts? . . . well, what then shall we do?
The Japanese, the Chinese, Eastern minds
Think mathematics and the facts can’t coup
Deep thoughts. Such cast away such facts as rinds.
They fell like women, hoping they are right

About their men while cuddling in the night.
