Rigor Mortis:  Religions Remain Rigidly Wrong

The list that life provides is brief, not strange.

It’s ultra certain:  two its items.  One

Need not be named.  The other one is change.

The other one is surer than the sun

Since it will singe itself away and may

Not rise for you tomorrow.  That

Delivers you the other, you its prey,

To alabaster certainty.  You splat

Against it and you’re gone.  Good-bye, good-bye

Forever.  It will never change and you

Will never change in it.  You’ll die.  You die

And after that no change will come.  That’s true.

No change will come, not even one.  A rock

May change, but your beyond?  Accept the shock.
