Middle Eastern Fan not Japanese:  Palistrophes

The Book of Genesis is like a fan,

A fan made up of fans, of foreign fans

Within one spreading fan.  Thus life began

In Oriental fan-like shape.  The plans

Of Great Jehovah are set forth in shapes

Of opened fans, a big one and inside

It smaller ones.  God opens fan-like drapes

To show us Eden’s dream-like, shining bride,

And overarching fan constructions lead

Us into other stories shaped in pleats,

To horror stories, flood and wounds that bleed,

Unfolding other wider story sheets.

The spreadsheet offers plot, on plot, on plot,

With Adam’s woman set in sync with Lot.
