Karma in Sandusky

     Karma in Sandusky

When everything seems hidden in God’s mist,

When nature has become a giant shield

Against our seeing details men have missed,

Then suddenly sad circumstances yield

A swath of death not prophesied.  A storm

The night before forced college students down

To airstrip.  They did not retire to dorm

Accommodation.  Landing in a town

They’d never heard of, they set out to win

The College Bowl.  But earthworms filled the path

And so their plane committed earthworm sin.

It squished them by the thousand in God’s wrath.

It killed them in their squirming thousands, goal

Condemned.  The students lost the College Bowl.
