In Eastern though a person’s loneliness

Is linked with all the creatures in the world.

Denying this just worsens loneliness.

Your loneliness means you are always swirled

With everything including rocks and trees.

An interpenetration with the whole

Of all brings on the serendipities

Called full enlightenment.  This enters soul

And means a total unity.  The truth

Is selflessness means selfulness.  The call

A crow make in the pines means age and youth

Are one.  The cherry blossom time is fall.

The meaning of all lives is that we weep

And praise together.  Consciousness is sleep.
