Immortal Soul
The soul does not have smells like iron, the smell
Of iron in blood. Your soul does not have flesh

(The stench of flesh). The soul includes no shell
To hide in. Souls might always smell as fresh
As new beginnings, but they don’t since souls
Are non-existent. More substantial than
The soul are myths and doctrines. Rinse souls
And nothing will come out of them. A man
Has flesh and fragrances and blood because
He actually exists with armpit hair
And odor. Men can touch you with their paws
When they desire. Those hands can make you blare.
You know that men are real because their breath
Can stink. Reality involves real death.
