Immaculate Conception

The East concluded that the point of Mind
Is not Socratic pathways’ patterns, but
Instead their opposite. The point is blind
Acceptance of a fogginess, not strut
Of logic. Logic leads to shallow stuff,
Not sea real meaning — but unmeaning thought.
Such rationality is not enough.
Truth’s sovereign sword goes slicing through the knot
Of tangled lack of Wisdom. Truth is like
A prophet made of dreams and secret sense.
The Truth is more a mystic colored spike.
The Truth is far too large for facts — immense.
The East believes that shallowness is brain.
The East believes that Truth floats, lacking stain.
