Grammar, Syntax, Idioms
Most nouns have S as part of nouns’ own souls.
S starts them or may lodge in ampersand
At times. The nouns are searching for the holes
In meaning. Nouns prefer a damper sand
That they can penetrate or plain dislodge.
Their verbs are captives in a caesar’s van.
The nouns determine they will leave their splodge
Inside the sentence made of semen, man.
The other parts of speech don’t matter. They
Are slave of facts and actions. Adverbs shoved
Around are flimsy. Adjectives just play
Around the edges, muffled, velvet-gloved.
The prepositions, wildcard things, are worst.
They’re furless feral cats, forever cursed.
