Despite His Bourgeois Salesman Dad and Wavy Hair

Despite His Bourgeois Salesman Dad and Wavy Hair

He turns to drink, to alcoholic drink

Because he is too stupid to decide

A better way to live.  His choices stink,

But then he isn’t bright enough to guide

Himself correctly.  He was clearly told

As if the brightest sun that ever shone

Had lit the way.  His two-watt dimness tolled

His silliness.  It’s what has made him prone

To mediocrity.  He thinks that chords

He plays in rhythms that the rock n roll

Simplicities that wowed the hordes

Of teenyboppers is composer’s goal.

He studied at the lowest of the low

Law schools.  His diploma doesn’t glow.
