Rewrite the stars tonight if only you
Can do that. Constellations need not be
So limited in color: white, red, blue
And yellow. They can stretch infinity.
Rewrite the stars this evening, daring fate
To fault you. Galaxies are waiting for
Your strength. The cosmos is not steady state
For you. Your shining soul is at their core. 
Rewrite both Mars and Venus if your God

Will bow to you. Why shouldn’t Christ accept
Your stellar alphabet though you are flawed?
His heaven-throned heart knows this is why he leapt.
