Where Lakshmi lies, see beauties all complete,

Replete abundance and prosperity.

She holds her pure perfection in her suite

(Of flawless knowledge decked with jewellery)

Both strength and its protection.  Vishnu’s love,

Mohini, lovely too, can captivate

Asuras.  She shows beauty far above.

All lovelinesses in her constellate.

Lord Vishnu, though, is beautiful by far

Beyond these goddesses.  Like camphor white

His skin he dances in between each star

Of his creation.  He is days in night.

  Lord Vishnu’s skin shines also perfect blue.

     In him all truest beauties rendezvous.
