“The moon in the creek shines upon the breeze in the pine-trees” ~ Wang Wei
“The white horse enters the white flowers of the reeds” ~ D. H. Lawrence

The phosphorescent steps upon the beach

Are singing to the moon, adorning stars

And sea.  The orange blossoms as they reach

Out send perfume as fingers.  Morning stars

Are one with other whites, like white on waves.

The white of purity as Wilma sings

Across the river-like lagoons enslaves

The listeners as whitest seraph wings

Would stun them.  Citrus petals are the white

That Christ deploys upon the Sabbath Day

For Adam and for Eve whose love at night

Shines brighter than the thoughts that virgins pray.

The venom in the fang that dangles high

Is dark, they heedless of the sleazy spy.
