Fathers and Sons

When faiths omit the facts, the truth, they kill

Religion.  When they make that sacrifice,

It’s Abraham and Isaac sent to trill

Away the obvious.  Religions slice

Away at sacred things like sons to please

Some god imagined by a mindless mind.

Kill off the common sense, say priests, and seize

The soullessness of death and being blind

To life the way it is.  To kill your son

For some religious reason is the nth

Degree of evil.  Sin, the greatest one,

Is putting godly murder on a plinth.

  To kill your sons because they need a sex

    You loathe, turns loving into Satan’s hex.
