Poets Find the Truth Behind the Truth

Thank God we have the poets, not just priests.

A trillion people do not grasp this fact

But in their guts of guts they know the feasts

Of gods on slaughtered sacrifices act

To teach the truth.  The greatest sacrifice

Of all, the slaughter of the Son of God

To show God’s mercy is the dryest ice

Of all, so cold its spikes and spear are odd

In coldest heat, the spikes in Godly palms,

The spear in Godly side.  The ugliness,

Sublime, results in near unending psalms.

The ugliness shows God’s great smugliness.

  Complacency sits hard upon His throne.

    His love is shown by slaughtering His Own.
