Cro-Magnon Man vs. Low-Magnon Man

It took us fifteen thousand years to sink
To jigsaw puzzles. Lascaux art shines out
In darkness but stupidities shrink true
Images to little childish pout —
A puzzle pasted to some cardboard, cut
In stupid shapes for mindless minds to piece
Together dumbly. Such leads them to strut
Around as if their wizard wonders never cease.
The hands that made the cave-wall creatures long
