Their Hairy Shells

The person sitting here is two-legged, man,

Unless you count the smaller one between

The unshaved pair, but then the macho clan

Points out that other pair, two bits unclean

To look at.  Surely they increase the weight

And length and thickness of this central leg

In eyes that do not want to look, that hate

To dwell upon the swelling of each egg

In wrinkled, bristled sack between the thighs.

These ovals, being ovals are too curved

To be that masculine, but then their size

Is large enough.  They have to be observed.

  In women’s beds, for men in shower rooms,

    The shapes are there beneath wet pubic blooms.
