When far too manly in your thought, don’t dream

Of doves collecting sighs or nightingales

Amassing sobs.  Your thick-thighed rugby team

Prefers fast films and books, exciting tales

A “Thunderball” his own Surrealist thang,

That movie would have speedboatly displayed

Your friends’ poetic tastes if bang, Bang, BANG

It zipped.  Don’t dream of dahlias filled with birds

Or daisies bearing angels.  “Top Gun” stuff

Is what men want and not poetic words.

A big breast blonde or redhead is enough.

  Don’t dream of pheasant beauty or of trunks

    Of Eden trees.  They will not interest hunks.
