Zeno of Elea
“It is true greatness to have in one, the frailty of a man and the security of a god.” ~ Seneca as quoted by Bacon in Of Adversity

Just one reality exists. The rest
Subsists in falsity. A paradox
Occurs in other thoughts, their falseness best
Described as fallacy. This rest is flocks
Of non-existent birds. They flap about
Among no meaning in an atmosphere
Made up of non-existent atoms. Pout
About Reality, but one severe
Truth still remains and ever has been True.
There is no motion, matter, space or time.
These each are weightless and they have no hue.
All other thinking spreads as scads of slime.
There’s no such thing as space. To get to here
From there requires infinity’s vast sphere.
